Description
The protocol of early mobilization of critical mechanically ventilated patients has been implemented in the ICU of the Hospital Joan XXIII since January of 2016. The implementation of this multidisciplinary protocol allows for a better team communication and it highlights the role of nurses in achieving a safe mobilization and minimal adverse effects on the patient.
