Rural Salut is an original and innovative corporate proposal composed of health care professionals and communication, and we design and carry out ludic and educational activities with the objective of promoting healthy lifestyle habits among people, thus contributing to the prevention of illnesses and to the increase of the quality of life. Rural Salut is a health-focused educational project that is based on the following evidences:

• Leading a healthy lifestyle increases people’s happiness and reduces the possibilities of developing a disease.
• The ways to lead a healthy lifestyle should be taught with innovative and original methods adapted to the needs and characteristics of every person and group.
• Any physical and intellectual activity carried out in a natural environment or outdoors is beneficial to one’s health.
• Our services complement and bring in an added value to the care provided by the units of the Health Care System and the Educational System.

It is for all of the above that in Rural Salut we combine this knowledge and principles to offer different, ludic, rigorous and effective services. All the contents of the activities of Rural Salut are based on the scientific knowledge generated by the Col·legi Oficial d’Infermeres i Infermers de Barcelona (COIB) through the project Infermera virtual.
